Lochy Watykanu — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Lochy Watykanu, which roughly means "The Vatican Catacombs," casts the player as a Roman commander who raises legions, builds fortresses, and explores the catacombs beneath the Eternal City. The extra large 144 by 144 map includes an underground level and supports eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. Each player starts with a different faction, from Inferno to Dungeon. The terrain is mostly grass and rock, with subterranean areas, some lava, and very little water. To win, a player must capture a specific town, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map contains 22 towns, 119 mines, and 249 random monster stacks, along with a few placed artifacts, including the Clover of Fortune and the Ladybird of Luck.
