[Ligue-SoD] XX - Grosses Peurs — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This small two-player map for Shadow of Death is set on an underground level and rated Expert. Its title, roughly "Big Fears," fits a theme of mistakes: the author suggests both players will slip up, and the question is who makes the bigger one. Both seats are human, there are no teams, and Red and Blue receive random factions. The 36 by 36 area is mostly water, rough ground, grass and snow, and holds 4 towns, 14 mines, 8 seer huts, 8 creature banks and 8 monoliths or portals. Wandering monsters include Evil Eyes and Orc Chieftains, and artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Golden Bow are placed across the map. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
