Les Ombres — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Les Ombres is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for eight players, with five human seats and Purple, Teal and Pink left to the computer. There are no teams. The factions are Fortress, Rampart, Conflux, Stronghold, Dungeon, and three Necropolis players. The author's note describes a fight to the death in which only one side remains, while reminding players that they are mortal. Victory means defeating every enemy, and defeat comes when all towns and heroes are lost. Rock and subterranean ground cover much of the land, with grass and snow filling the rest. Fifteen towns, creature banks, mines and seer huts are spread across it, with wandering skeletons common and artifacts such as the Crown of the Five Seas placed about.
