Les Elémentalistes — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Les Elémentalistes is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for seven players, six of whom can be human, grouped into six teams with one computer-only colour. The story is that the necromancer Laliany is stirring conflict among the factions in order to seize the power of elemental magic, and the player must fight to rescue Gilaina. Factions include Inferno, Stronghold, Fortress, Necropolis and Tower, with two colours assigned randomly. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. The terrain is largely rock and water, with lava and grass in smaller shares, and the map holds ten towns, numerous mines and creature banks, and several placed artifacts, including the Red Dragon Flame Tongue and the Pendant of Death. The difficulty is rated hard.
