Le Temple is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, rated Expert, with eight player colors and room for only one human player; the other seven are computer-only. There are no fixed teams, and victory requires defeating every enemy, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The factions include Castle, Dungeon, Necropolis, Rampart with Tower, Inferno with Dungeon, Fortress, and Stronghold. The terrain is mostly grass, lava, rock, and dirt, with about six percent water. Twenty towns and nineteen heroes are placed across the map, alongside wandering skeletons, goblins, wraiths, and cerberi, along with a Grail, mines, creature banks, and several artifacts.
