Laurel et Hardy en ballade !!! — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Laurel et Hardy en ballade is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level alongside the surface. Its description frames it as a search in which each comic partner looks for the other, and it is pitched at players who want intense play. Eight players can take part, up to four of them human, while Red, Blue, Tan and Green are computer-only. Seven teams are set up, and every faction is random. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Grass and subterranean ground cover most of the map, with water making up about 14 percent. Expect 48 towns, 107 mines, 24 monoliths and portals, and the Grail. Faerie Dragons roam in large numbers, and artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade are placed around the map.
