Latent Lightning — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Latent Lightning is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for Shadow of Death, played on Impossible difficulty. Five players share four teams, with up to two human players and three computer-run colors. Factions include Conflux, Inferno, Dungeon and Necropolis. Rock and water cover most of the land, and the Grail is placed among twelve towns. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while losing every town and hero ends a player's game. The author's note, paraphrased, suggests that outside help opens a route to a hidden land and that calm play lets hostile attacks fail.
