Six players take part, with up to five human players and the pink player controlled by the computer. The players form three teams, and each partnership splits between land and sea, so one player starts on land and the other on the water. About 44 percent of the map is water, with dirt and grass covering much of the rest. The factions in play are Dungeon, Castle, Rampart, Tower, Stronghold, and Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. The map includes nine towns, fifteen placed artifacts, two seer huts, thirteen creature banks, and many wandering monster stacks.
