Lakeworld — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Lakeworld is a large Armageddon's Blade map of 108 by 108 tiles, played on a single surface level with no underground. Eight players each start with a different faction, and all eight can be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The setting is wet and marshy, with water covering about 44 percent of the land and swamp, rough ground and snow making up much of the rest. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Among the 13 towns are Elemental Conflux settlements that the author describes as the key to control. The map holds wandering dragons, trolls, boars and rogues, 56 mines, 12 seer huts, and a set of notable artifacts including Armageddon's Blade. It is rated Hard.
