La Somme de Toutes les Peurs draws its theme from a remark attributed to Winston Churchill about bringing together an airman, a sailor and an infantryman during a world at war, and asks players to win their own conflict. This Armageddon's Blade map is Extra Large at 144 by 144, includes an underground level, and is rated Expert. Five players are placed, with up to four controlled by humans, and the Red player is computer-only. There are no teams. The factions are Inferno for Red, Castle for Blue, Dungeon for Tan, Rampart for Green and Tower for Teal. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about a third of the map and water a quarter, while grass and snow cover further portions. Notable features include 24 towns, 75 mines, 16 monoliths and portals, and a Sea Captain's Hat artifact.
