L'ami Ben — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
L'ami Ben is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and Impossible difficulty. It supports six players, all of whom can be human, and no teams are defined. Each player starts with one faction: Castle, Necropolis, Dungeon, Fortress, Stronghold, or Tower. Water covers about 44 percent of the surface, with lava, grass, and sand making up much of the rest. The map holds 16 towns, 5 heroes, and wandering dragons, ogres, orcs, and beholders. It also has dwellings, around 40 creature banks, 32 monoliths and portals, 105 mines, a Grail, and artifacts such as Armor of Wonder. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The author cautions that the map may not be easy.
