Two players are set up, with Red on Stronghold and Green on Inferno; Green is computer-controlled, so only one human can take part, and there are no teams. The story casts Kull as a barbarian king who must defeat the wicked Queen Akivasha before she returns to her throne and plunges the land into darkness. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and a player loses if a specific hero is lost. Rock covers about half the map, with water at around 29 percent and rough ground making up the rest. Notable finds include the Grail, a set of Legion artifacts, Armageddon's Blade, and Angelic Alliance, along with two Corsair stacks, two Mammoth stacks, and a Crystal Dragon among the wandering monsters.
