KOSOVO is an extra large, 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and an Impossible difficulty setting. Eight players share it, with one human seat at most and seven computer-controlled colors, arranged into three teams. The author's brief description says that American forces arrive to help gather resources, and the factions include Castle, Rampart, Dungeon, Fortress, Necropolis, and Stronghold. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. About a third of the land is grass and nearly a third is water, with rough ground and rock making up the rest. The map holds 47 towns, 115 mines, and the Grail, along with dwellings for Angels and Azure Dragons, and artifacts such as the Cornucopia and the Ring of Infinite Gems.
