KniFe — WoG

KniFe is an Extra Large 144x144 underground map for In the Wake of Gods, rated Expert. Its name and the author's note suggest a risky game full of surprises, where the computer opponents hold advantages and the player must keep moving and react quickly to survive. Four players share the map, with one human player at most. Blue, Tan and Green are computer-controlled, there are no teams, and every player's faction is random. Rock and water cover most of the terrain, with grass and dirt making up the rest. Victory comes from flagging all mines, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds four towns, 28 mines, and many guarded spots, including Haspid and Nix Warrior stacks, creature dwellings such as the Azure Dragon, and placed artifacts like the Pendant of Reflection and the Skull Helmet.
