Khorinis(Based on Gothic 2) — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Khorinis, based on Gothic 2 according to its name, is a large 108 by 108 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and a hard difficulty setting. One human player can take part, against a computer-controlled opponent in purple, and no teams are used. The Red side fields Castle, Inferno and Conflux, while the purple side fields Inferno and Stronghold. Roughly a third of the terrain is water and over a third is rock, with dirt and subterranean ground making up the rest. Victory requires defeating the Ghost Dragon, and losing your hero ends the game. The map holds nine towns, 35 mines and fourteen artifacts, including the Titan's Gladius and the Crown of the Supreme Magi, and stacks of Orc Chieftains roam the land.
