Kartka is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and Expert difficulty. The author suggests that people once imagined the world as flat and carried on animals, when it is closer to a sheet of paper drifting on the wind, and asks what lies on its far side. Eight players compete, with up to six human players and Purple and Teal reserved for the computer. There are no teams, and each color plays a different faction, from Inferno and Tower to Necropolis. Water covers nearly a third of the land, with grass, lava and dirt making up most of the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds the Grail, 77 mines and 23 towns, along with wandering Black Dragons and Arch Mages.
