Kangri is a large 108 by 108 Shadow of Death map with an underground level, rated Expert. Four players take part, with up to three controlled by humans and the Pink player computer-only. There are no fixed teams. Red plays Castle, Green plays Inferno, Teal has Castle, Rampart, Tower and Stronghold, and Pink has Castle and Necropolis. Water covers 56 percent of the surface, with grass and rough ground making up most of the rest. Victory requires acquiring the Angelic Alliance artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Heroes are capped at level 15. The map holds 22 towns, 74 peasant stacks, 27 seer huts, 50 mines and 16 monoliths and portals, along with dwellings for creatures such as Iron Golems and Devils. The author's note, written in Chinese, reflects on wartime history.
