It Fell Out of the Sky — RoE

This Hard map covers 72 by 72 tiles on the surface and supports five players, with up to four controlled by humans. The Green player is computer-only and plays Stronghold, while the other four colors have random factions. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The story follows survivors of a fallen fireball that struck a peaceful realm ten years earlier. They have united amid reports of rich minerals in the impact zone and sightings of green creatures. Lava covers about a quarter of the land, with grass, water, and dirt making up much of the rest. Highlights include 37 mines, 26 random artifacts, and 17 stacks of Ogre Mages roaming the map.
