Island of Bones — SoD

Island of Bones is a large Shadow of Death map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, with an underground level and a Hard difficulty rating. It supports seven players, with six slots open to human players and one reserved for the computer, which plays the Teal side. Teams are not used, and every player starts with a random faction. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated once they lose all towns and heroes. The map is mostly subterranean and grassland, with dirt and sand making up much of the rest and about five percent water. Its thirteen towns are supported by 53 mines, 28 creature banks, and 232 random monster stacks, while wandering skeletons, efreet, and devils roam the land. Dwellings hold dragons, fire elementals, and mummies, and 28 random artifacts are scattered about, with six seer huts and eight monoliths and portals adding to the exploration.
