Eight players share the map in four teams, with up to six human players and the Purple and Pink colors left to the computer. Purple plays Necropolis, Pink plays Stronghold, and the other colors draw random factions. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock covers about 37 percent of the terrain and water about 22 percent. The map contains 16 towns, 91 mines, and 26 creature banks, along with the Grail and the Armageddon's Blade artifact. Wandering trolls and rogues appear in the largest numbers.
