Inferno Land — RoE

Inferno Land is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108, set in the Restoration of Erathia game version and rated at the Impossible difficulty. Eight players share the field, with two seats open to humans and six controlled by the computer, arranged into three teams. The traditional red-versus-blue rivalry is the central conflict, with both sides playing Inferno, and the remaining factions are Castle, Tower, Fortress, Stronghold, Necropolis, and Rampart. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player falls once every town and hero is lost. Rock covers about a third of the terrain and water roughly a fifth, with lava patches and some grass. Scattered across the map are 26 towns, 120 mines, 24 creature banks, and a number of wandering Magog, Pit Lord, and Cerberus stacks. Nine named artifacts are placed on the map, along with 60 random ones.
