Infernal Divide — RoE

Infernal Divide is a two-player map set on an underground level, where a sudden earthquake has split two warring factions apart along a wide continental rift. Most of their heroes were lost in the disaster, and the few survivors are stranded. The map covers a medium 72 by 72 tiles, with water and rock making up most of the terrain. Two human players can play against each other on Hard difficulty, with random factions and no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Wandering monsters include numerous Familiars, Basilisks, and Magogs, while the map holds six towns, twelve creature banks, sixteen mines, and a dozen artifacts such as the Speculum and Shackles of War.
