The Indo-Pak Subcontinent is a large 108 by 108 map for seven players, with no underground level and a Normal difficulty setting. Each of the seven players starts with a different faction, from Rampart and Stronghold through Necropolis and Dungeon, and all seven slots can be human. The players form four teams, and the aim is to defeat every enemy. A player loses once all of their towns and heroes are gone. Roughly a third of the land is water, with grass covering much of the rest, along with patches of snow and lava. Sixteen towns and ten heroes are placed across the map, and wandering monsters include Water Elementals, Pit Lords and Master Genies. Several artifacts, such as the Helm of Chaos and the Golden Bow, are placed on the map, along with 62 mines.
