Illusion World 2 is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles, built for the Restoration of Erathia version and rated Expert. It supports eight players, all of whom can be human, arranged into four teams, with each color fielding a different town type from Castle through Necropolis and Inferno. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The terrain is mostly water, swamp, grass and sand, with water covering about a quarter of the surface. Wandering monsters include skeletons, walking dead, dwarves and gnoll marauders, and the map holds a large number of mines, creature banks and dwellings. Among the artifacts placed are the Boots of Speed and several armor pieces. The author describes a world where might and magic rule, and warns that not every sight can be trusted.

This is the magic world, where the Might and the Magic rules. Become the master of this world, but beware of illusions - you are not alone in this Illusion world!
