Iceland — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Iceland is an extra large, 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, set on a frozen landscape that is roughly 93 percent snow with a small share of water. It has no underground level and is rated hard. Five players are placed, with Blue and Orange reserved for the computer, so up to three humans can take part. There are no fixed teams. Red, Blue, Green and Orange receive random towns, while Pink plays as Necropolis. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map holds 19 towns and 11 placed heroes, along with 186 random monster stacks and a number of wandering dragons, including several Azure Dragons. Placed treasures include a Cornucopia, an Endless Bag of Gold and a Head of Legion, and the land is dotted with 61 mines, 4 seer huts and 14 creature banks.
