Hugalonia — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Hugalonia is an extra large underground map for eight players, each playing alone against the others, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The author's description frames it as a call to reunite a fractured kingdom by bringing its petty lords under one rule. Each of the eight players starts with a different town type, from Castle and Rampart to Inferno and Dungeon, and the goal is to defeat all enemies. A player loses by losing every town and hero. The terrain is mostly rock and subterranean ground, with grass, dirt, and some water. The map holds 29 towns, many mines, creature banks, and a few dozen wandering monsters, including Boars and Sprites, and it contains a sizable number of placed artifacts.
