Hot Spot (1 on 1) — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Hot Spot (1 on 1) is a medium 72x72 two-player map for Restoration of Erathia, played on an underground level with a hard difficulty rating. Two human players can take part, with no computer-only colors and no teams. Both sides begin with random factions, and each has four towns to start. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock and grass, with no water. Wandering monsters include Master Genies, Minotaur Kings, Wraiths, Black Dragons, Arch Mages and a Fire Elemental, and the map holds dwellings for golems, mines, creature banks, seer huts and monoliths. Several Legion set pieces and other artifacts are placed around the map, along with 34 random artifacts.
