Holiday Island — RoE

Holiday Island is an extra large map of 144 by 144 tiles on a single surface level, built for four computer or human players, with three human slots and one computer-only color. Its author describes a contest of four players for control of one island, and that is borne out by the layout: roughly two thirds of the map is water, with sand and grass making up the rest. The game is played on Hard difficulty with no teams. Each player's faction is random. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds four towns and five starting heroes, along with wandering Diamond Golems, a Wraith, an Archangel, a Wyvern Monarch and a Crusader. The Grail is placed on the map, and the mines, banks and artifacts add to the surroundings.
