Heroes — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This extra large underground map, titled simply Heroes and built for Restoration of Erathia, is played across a 144 by 144 field with eight players, all of whom may be human, and no teams. Each side starts with a random faction, and the victory goal is to defeat all enemies, while a player loses once every town and hero is gone. The landscape is mostly rock, grass, rough ground and dirt, with about seven percent water. Scattered across it are 37 towns, 140 mines, 85 creature banks and 15 seer huts, along with eight monoliths and portals. Wandering elemental stacks and a Bone Dragon roam the land, and placed artifacts include Angel Wings, Boots of Speed and the Endless Sack of Gold. The author describes it as an unpredictable land to conquer, and the difficulty is set to hard.
