Hard Life! — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Hard Life! is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade, set on a difficulty rated as Hard. Three players take part, with only one able to be human, and the Red and Teal colors are run by the computer. There are no teams. Castle is the faction for Red, Green and part of Teal, while Teal also fields Inferno and Dungeon. Rock covers the largest share of the terrain, followed by grass, water and subterranean ground. Heroes are capped at level 8, and the map holds 14 towns and 12 starting heroes. Scattered across the land are wandering troglodytes, champions, hydras and cavaliers, along with artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Helm of Chaos. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and a player loses if a specific hero falls.
