Great War — WoG

Great War is an extra-large underground map for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. Its description tells of a devastating earthquake that split a once unified land into three continents, sparking a struggle for control of the whole world and a call to unite Corinthia under one banner. Rock covers much of the terrain, followed by water at roughly a quarter of the surface, with smaller areas of grass and snow. Six players start with random factions, Teal begins with Necropolis, and Pink begins with Inferno. The game is set to Impossible difficulty. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when all their towns and heroes are gone. The map holds 22 towns, 73 mines, 50 creature banks, wandering stacks that include four Crystal Dragon groups, and placed artifacts such as the Pendant of Reflection.
