Graal — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Graal is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level, rated hard, for four players in three teams, with only one human seat and the other three colors run by the computer. Two teams of Rampart face a Dungeon player and a Fortress player, and the winner is whoever carries a specific artifact to safety, while a side loses once it has no towns or heroes left. Rock covers about a third of the ground, with grass, dirt and swamp making up much of the rest, and water takes up a small share. The map holds five towns, eight heroes at the start, forty-one mines, twelve seer huts and fourteen monoliths and portals. Wandering monsters include genies, nagas and a unicorn, and fifteen artifacts are scattered across the land, with the Grail itself hidden somewhere on the map.
