Glory battle — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Glory Battle is a medium 72 by 72 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and a hard difficulty rating. It supports eight players, but only one can be human, and the other seven seats are computer-controlled. The players form three teams and play as Castle, Dungeon, Stronghold, Rampart, Necropolis, Inferno, and two Tower seats. Rock covers about a third of the land and water about a quarter, with subterranean and lava areas making up much of the rest. The human player wins by finding the Grail and building a Grail structure in the Atlantean capital, Atlantas. The game is lost if the hero Roland dies. Notable finds include the Grail, dwellings holding Angels and Mummies, and placed artifacts such as the Sword of Judgement and several pieces of the Legion set.
