Friends & Enemies is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for the Restoration of Erathia version, rated hard. It supports six players in total, with four human seats at most, and the two computer-only colors, Teal and Pink, are fixed to Castle with Inferno and Necropolis with Stronghold. The players form three teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated once they lose every town and hero. Water covers about 27 percent of the surface, with rock, lava and subterranean terrain making up much of the rest. The map holds 37 towns and a large spread of mines, seer huts, creature banks and monoliths and portals, along with wandering monsters such as Magog, Beholder and Gorgon. Several timed events are scheduled during play.
