Four Lakes — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Four Lakes is a small two-player map measuring 36 by 36 on the surface only, with no underground level. Its grassy terrain carries no water, and it is set for Normal difficulty in the Restoration of Erathia version of the game. Red plays Rampart and Blue plays Castle, with no teams and no computer-only colors, so both seats are human. A player can win by building a Grail structure, while the loss condition is losing all towns and heroes. The map offers four towns, two starting heroes, and twelve mines. Scattered across it are wandering stacks of Crusaders, Royal Griffins, Grand Elves, Silver Pegasi, and a few stacks of Halberdiers, Archers, Champions and Monks. Dwellings hold Pikemen, Griffins, Centaurs and Dwarves, and a Spellbinder's Hat is placed on the map alongside nine random artifacts.
