Four Heroes is a large underground-enabled map of 108 by 108 tiles, played at Expert difficulty on the Restoration of Erathia version of the game. Two players take part, with one seat open to a human and the Red side left to the computer, and there are no teams. The Inferno faction faces off against the Castle faction. The story follows four strangers, each with different skills and backgrounds, who set out to stop the Demon King Hawlott from ruining the world by reaching his castle and killing him. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock and grass, with water and subterranean terrain covering smaller shares. Notable features include four Seer Huts, thirteen monoliths and portals, four timed events, and a set of placed artifacts such as the Pendant of Holiness.
