Four frogs and butterfly — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Four Frogs and Butterfly is an extra large Shadow of Death map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, with an underground level included. Four players compete, and all four seats can be human, with no teams and random factions for every color. The goal is to eliminate every rival, and a player is knocked out once they lose all their towns and heroes. Rock covers nearly half the map and water about a quarter, with smaller areas of subterranean and dirt ground. Nine towns and five starting heroes are placed, and three Azure Dragon stacks roam alongside single Firebird, Faerie Dragon and Rust Dragon stacks. Notable finds include the Wizard's Well, the Cornucopia and the Ring of the Magi, along with 34 mines.
