Fondation de l'Empire — AB

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

Fondation de l'Empire is a large underground-enabled map of 108 by 108 tiles, rated Hard, and played on Armageddon's Blade. It is set in the Succession Wars storyline and follows the bid of a former prince, now a king and corrupted by evil, to seize the throne of an empire. Six players share the map, with Red playing a Dungeon, Blue a Tower, Tan a Stronghold, Green a Rampart, Purple a Necropolis, and Teal a Fortress. Only one human player can join, and the other five colors are controlled by the computer, with no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses if a specific hero is killed. Rock and grass cover most of the land, with water and subterranean areas making up the rest. The map holds 20 towns, 51 mines, and the Grail, along with a number of artifacts, creature banks, and wandering monsters.
