Fire and Ice is an extra large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, set on a 144 by 144 grid and rated Expert. Eight seats exist, with up to six filled by humans and the Red and Teal colors left to the computer. Four teams compete, and all factions are random. The plot concerns twin gods of flame and frost who have escaped their underground prison and must be stopped. Victory means defeating all enemies, while a player falls once all towns and heroes are lost. Lava and snow cover about a quarter and a fifth of the land. Highlights include 21 towns, 83 mines, eight monoliths and portals, and the Clover of Fortune among the placed artifacts.
