The story pits good against evil, which seeks revenge after a long peace in southern Finlandia, and only the Renegades can resist it. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 44 percent of the terrain, with grass, subterranean ground, and water making up the rest. Notable features include the Grail, 110 mines, and artifacts such as Angel Wings.
