Fife Brothers is an extra large underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia, set on a 144 by 144 grid at Normal difficulty. The story follows a kingdom split evenly among five brothers after the death of their father, with the brothers then turning on one another in a struggle for control of the whole realm. Five players can take part, all of them human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The factions are Castle for Red, Stronghold for Blue, Tower for Tan, Fortress for Green, and Rampart for Orange. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about half the map, with water around 12 percent. The map holds 14 towns, 41 mines, 8 seer huts, 8 creature banks, and 2 monoliths and portals, along with a range of placed artifacts and dwellings.
