Fast&Strong — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Fast&Strong is an extra large 144 by 144 map for Shadow of Death, played at normal difficulty on a single level. Five players share it: one seat can be human, and Red, Orange, Teal and Pink are computer-only. There are no teams. The map pits a lone player against four rivals, and the author suggests that speed decides who ends up stronger. Factions are Castle for the human seat, Necropolis, Inferno, Tower and Fortress for the computer players. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about 40 percent of the land, with snow, lava and sand making up the rest. Fifteen towns, 85 mines and 16 creature banks are spread across it, and the Cornucopia, the Statue of Legion and the Wizard's Well are among the placed artifacts.
