Fantasy — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Fantasy map is an extra large 144 by 144 tile battlefield for five players, with four human seats and one computer-only Purple side, and it includes an underground level. Each player fields a different town type: Tower, Stronghold, Fortress, Castle and Inferno. There are no teams, so the goal is simply to defeat all enemies, while a side loses once it has no towns and no heroes left. The terrain is mostly rock, with dirt, lava and water covering much of the rest. The map carries 22 towns and nine placed heroes, along with a Grail, a range of named artifacts, 94 mines, and 26 creature banks. Wandering armies such as Black Dragons, Medusa Queens and Gold Golems roam the open ground, and the map is set to Impossible difficulty.
