Fairy Tales is a small Armageddon's Blade map of 36 by 36 tiles with an underground level, set for Expert difficulty. It supports three players, though only one can be human, with Green and Teal left to the computer. The human player takes the Castle town, Green plays Stronghold, and Teal plays Tower, with no teams in use. Terrain is mostly rock, subterranean ground, grass and dirt, with a small share of water. The author's description frames the story as a curse laid by a snow queen, lifted only by slaying her. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, and the game is lost if the 140-day limit runs out. The map holds three towns, four placed heroes, and a number of wandering monster stacks, including trolls and ogres. Players will also find seven seer huts, three quest guards, and fourteen placed artifacts.
