Faerie Land — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Faerie Land is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level. It supports four players, all of whom can be human, split into two teams. The story pits good and evil faerie realms against each other, and the goal is to find the remaining egg laid by the Dragon Mother to restore calm. Inferno, Tower, Stronghold, and Rampart each have one player. Nearly half the surface is water, with rock and subterranean ground covering much of the rest. Victory comes from accumulating creatures, and a player is eliminated after losing every town and hero. Highlights include wandering monsters, dragon and sea serpent dwellings, fourteen placed artifacts, and the Grail.
