Eye of the Dragon - 2.3 — SoD

Eye of the Dragon 2.3 is a medium 72 by 72 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level alongside the surface. It is a modified random map built for tournament play, set at Normal difficulty for three players, all of whom can be human. There are no teams and no computer-only colors. Red and Green play Conflux, while Blue plays Tower. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when they have no towns or heroes left. Rock covers about 43 percent of the terrain and water about 23 percent, with grass and subterranean ground making up smaller shares. The map holds seven towns, 37 mines, seven creature banks, and four monoliths or portals. The Shield of the Dwarven Lords is among the placed artifacts, and Pixies and Gnolls are among the more common wandering stacks.
