The remaining players start with random factions, and there are no fixed teams. Rock covers nearly half the surface, with water making up about a fifth, so island travel and navigation matter a great deal. The map holds seven towns, 49 mines, and 72 randomly placed artifacts, along with a Grail, wandering Diamond Golem, Water Elemental and Black Dragon stacks, and dwellings for Red Dragons and several elementals. Victory requires capturing one specific town, and the game ends in defeat if time runs out after 336 days.
