Europe v.1.2 is an extra-large underground map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, built for eight players with no teams and every player able to be human. The author's note names the nations each color represents, with players mapped to countries such as Poland, France and Russia. Terrain is mostly rock and water, with grass and lava filling the rest. Players start with a range of factions, including Castle, Rampart, Tower, Necropolis, Inferno, Stronghold, Fortress and Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. The map holds 48 towns, 70 mines and a large number of wandering monsters, including Skeletons, Archangels and Mighty Gorgons. Artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and several Pendants are scattered across it.
