Europa vol.2 is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Horn of the Abyss, set partly underground and rated Hard. Eight players can all be human, with no teams and random factions for every color. According to the author's note, the old world has gone too long without a ruler, its lands split among warring nations, and the player is meant to take the overlord's place so that expansion onto the other continents can continue. Rock covers about half the map, water roughly 29 percent, and grass 10 percent. The map holds 36 towns, 12 placed heroes, 85 mines, 34 creature banks, and 151 random monster stacks. Placed artifacts include the Crown of Dragontooth and the Endless Bag of Gold, and wandering Titans and Archangels roam the land. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
