Equal_Opportunities_ — RoE

This medium underground map, sized 72 by 72, is built for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Each side starts with a random faction, and the terrain is mostly grass, with rock, swamp, and lava making up the rest. The author aims for nearly equal starting conditions and asks players to defeat every enemy to win; a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Scattered across the map are 24 towns, 56 mines, and 24 creature banks, along with groups of wandering monsters such as Battle Dwarves, Cavaliers, and Mighty Gorgons. Among the placed artifacts are the four tomes of magic, the Boots of Speed, and the Sword of Judgement. The map also includes two monoliths or portals and four timed events.
